Development of camera module image quality testing equipment
- Development Scope
- Target switching interface, image acquisition, method calculation and module traceability
- Project Inputs
- Targets, test environments and quality methods
For camera modules, lenses, depth modules, displays and near-eye optical products, it is equipped with finished product measurement systems, positioning mechanism interfaces, automatic testing and result traceability software.
The following projects can be broken down into visual subsystems or complete machine prototypes within an agreed range. First confirm the existing core components, samples and target outputs, and then determine the development content of circuits, controls, structures, algorithms and software.
The measurement method and equipment interfaces require an initial technical assessment.

Please provide equipment usage, existing system and interface information, representative raw data, expected output, reference measurement or manual interpretation results. When mechanisms, process systems or professional optical machines are involved, supplier information and joint debugging conditions will also be provided.
The development proposal identifies the work assigned to JIVISION, the systems supplied by the customer or vendors, and the agreed scope of source code, design files and prototypes.
| Development Stage | Deliverables | Items to Confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Requirements and system interfaces | Equipment tasks, inputs and outputs, interfaces and test requirements | Scope of responsibility for customer's existing systems and supplier components |
| Design and software development | Agreed circuitry, structure, firmware, algorithm or application | Actual design scope, source file rights and third-party licenses |
| Prototype and engineering joint debugging | Agreed configured prototype, parameters, construction and installation information | Number of prototypes, institutional conditions and on-site joint debugging arrangements |
| Validation and technical handover | Configuration list, test records, problem handling and usage instructions | Reference methods, judgment standards and subsequent maintenance scope |
Compare results with a reference instrument under the agreed test patterns, poses, distances and color or radiometric calibration conditions. Image inspection, geometric calibration and luminance or chromaticity measurements use separate methods and acceptance criteria.
Define the samples, target configuration, reference values, operating conditions and acceptance method before testing. Retain normal results, failure cases, version information, known limitations and retest records in the delivery documentation.
A project can be limited to acquisition, control interfaces, algorithms or application software for an existing device. Provide the model, protocol or SDK, sample data and access rights so that the available functions can be checked first.
The project documents define each development responsibility. Precision motion, specialist optics, excitation, radiation sources and other core systems may be supplied by the customer or a specialist vendor. Prototype development and volume manufacturing are agreed separately.

Agree which circuit files, mechanical drawings, firmware, algorithms, software and build instructions will be delivered during requirements definition. Check third-party licenses and define delivery rights and scope in the project documents.
