Application plan for profile and wooden floor tongue and groove contour size detection

This solution calculates the width, height, groove depth and included angle on a defined cross-section for geometric checking of a defined profile or tongue-and-groove family; different materials and cross-sections are evaluated as independent recipes.

Tasks and image input

Section datum, fillets, burrs and inner wall occlusion will affect the size definition, and the result cannot be given based only on the distance between the two bright edges in the image.

Input data: calibration profile, cross-section drawing/datum, gauge reference and multiple batches of material samples, with movement speed and surface condition.

Algorithm processing and output

Effective contour→Datum registration→Linear/arc segmentation→Width and height, groove depth, angle and reference deviation.

Output results: specify the size, cross-section deviation and missing mark of the feature, and retain the recipe and benchmark version.

Implementation and verification

First deliver the feature rules and reporting interface of a cross-section family, and re-examine the datum and imaging conditions when changing types.

Verification method: Use cross-section gauge, profilometer or slice measurement to compare, and test wood burrs, black rubber, aluminum for strong reflection and deep groove occlusion.

Applicable boundaries and existing basis

Single views do not infer deep lumens or invisible surfaces, and there is no guarantee that the same algorithm recipe can be used for any material/section.

It is proposed to use the existing line/geometric basis, but the actual material and product size effects have not yet been verified.

Corresponding algorithm:Laser line extraction and cross-section geometry measurement algorithm。

Enterprise project promotion and acceptance

  1. scope confirmationClarify the objects, workstations, inputs, outputs, units, interfaces and abnormal conditions that must be covered.
  2. Sample verificationUse representative normal and abnormal samples to establish a baseline and record what works, what fails, and data gaps.
  3. Development joint debuggingComplete the algorithm, calibration, interface and equipment adaptation according to the approved scope, and retain the version, parameters and abnormal status.
  4. Item acceptanceUse independent samples and reference value retests to confirm errors, detection, tempo, stability and deliverables respectively.
