Assessment Conclusion

Fixed unloading-zone safety monitoring requires vehicle position, confirmed unloading activity, identity and current-task authorization, person-cargo association and outward boundary crossing to be combined into complete events.

Three Core Events

  • E1: the vehicle is outside the permitted area and unloading activity is confirmed.
  • E2: a person handles cargo without valid identity, task, zone or time authorization, or identity cannot be confirmed.
  • E3: a stable person-cargo association crosses from inside to outside the formal boundary.

Engineering Design

A single point is assessed with two to four role-based cameras for vehicle overview, unloading activity, person-cargo boundary and identity capture. DeepStream can provide decoding, inference, tracking, ROI and line-crossing building blocks; unloading recognition, person-cargo association and dynamic authorization require project-specific work.

Validation Boundary

This is a solution assessment, not evidence of a completed deployment. Accuracy, latency, channel capacity, device selection and alarm thresholds must be frozen through a PoC with real site data. Face recognition is not the only authorization method; badges, access cards, QR codes, work orders or manual review can be combined.
