Referring to the published RK3588 smoke-detection project record dated 2026-08-01, this article reviews the evidence needed to relate algorithm strategies to results. It adds no model tests or on-site acceptance, and does not combine other hardware branches, model configurations or runtime records into the original case's results.

Separate the decisions in the original project

The public case first checks smoke presence, then assesses color after the smoke-presence decision, with fixed-scene rules addressing interference. Low light retains an uncertain-color state. Review model outputs, color validity, rule reasons and final outputs separately. A single interface status cannot reconstruct the complete processing chain.

Relate each strategy to evidence

Stage Role described in the original project Evidence to associate during review
Smoke presence Check images or video for possible smoke Video segment, processing region, model and parameter versions
Smoke color Classify color or uncertainty after smoke detection Lighting, color result and validity conditions
Protective rules Handle fixed-background, static or extremely dark interference Trigger reasons, states before and after processing, reproduction conditions
Output management Organize local outputs according to conditions Test mode, output permission and live on-site state

The table describes a review method. It does not establish rerun tests or complete records for every smoke observation. A processing route from one version cannot be combined with evaluation numbers from another model configuration as a single test conclusion.

Preserve uncertainty and operating-mode differences

The recorded unknown_night state means color is uncertain under low light; it does not determine whether smoke is absent. Check image or video test results, permission to activate outputs and live alarm state separately. A displayed test result does not establish a changed physical alarm-output signal. A rule rejecting an input does not prove that every rejected video segment was a false smoke detection.

Relate records for later reproduction

Future reviews can associate original segments, versions, regions, thresholds, segment results and error reasons, then check changes against independent samples. This is a recording recommendation, not new delivery or acceptance evidence. Historical conclusions retain their original sample and scene limits; they do not establish acceptance across cameras, facilities or sustained operation. This smoke-detection project does not replace statutory monitoring, third-party testing or existing equipment safety-control systems.
