Industrial video integration should define device communication, resource mapping, event processing and business-system interfaces separately. This is a proposed development workflow. It does not establish completed integration with specified devices, compatibility with external platforms or completed formal conformance testing. Confirm functions actually exposed by each protocol and device against an interface inventory.
Modules and deliverables
| Module | Proposed responsibility | Records to retain |
|---|---|---|
| Device integration | Organize registration, queries or media requests under the actual protocol | Roles, versions, configuration and connection states |
| Resource mapping | Relate devices, channels and business objects | Identifier rules, mapping versions and changes |
| Event processing | Receive, check, store or forward agreed events | Origin, time, original messages and processing states |
| Business interface | Supply agreed queries, notifications or results | Fields, permissions, acknowledgement meaning and error codes |
| Verification and operation | Execute tests and check recovery after failures | Product combinations, logs, results and unfinished items |
Define what an interface response means
Define request-received, message-validated, data-stored and downstream-business-confirmed states separately. Document which states the implementation actually exposes. A successful response does not establish complete event storage or completed on-site action. Each output needs an explanation of origin, validity and unconfirmed status.
Check interruptions and version changes
In a controlled environment, check disconnections, timeouts, restarts, duplicate messages and identifier changes. Logs should link requests, devices, versions and results while redacting credentials and internal addresses. Define retries and duplicate handling according to the actual interfaces. This proposed workflow has no verification results for zero loss under unknown network conditions or permanent availability.
Accept functions in stages
Check internal test flows first, then test interoperability with agreed external product combinations. Complete on-site business checks and required formal documents under the contract. Use the official GB/T 28181-2022 information page to identify the protocol standard, and confirm applicable clauses and editions separately. Untested functions remain unverified. Interface demonstrations do not replace protocol, business or conformance evidence.
